American Idol Season 11 Rankings - Week 7





Colton Dixon. Cool hair. Christian faith. What's not to love about this guy? When I first started publishing "Compughter" ratings for American Idol four weeks ago, Colton started in 6th position. In Week 4, he remained in 6th, but then in Week 5 he jumped to 3rd and last week he ranked 2nd. So what happened? Just like in college football, one bad night can destroy an entire season. I think that's what happened to Colton this week.

All of the other contestants, with the exception of #1 Joshua Ledet, move up one spot this week due to Colton's departure, but otherwise remain ranked in the same order. My "Compughter" prediction for next week is that Hollie will be sent home, but notice how Elise, Skylar, Phillip, and Hollie are all within a quarter of a point of each other. Joshua and Jessica will remain safe next week, I think, and the bottom three will be Elise, Phillip, and Hollie.
